Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats, from picture books to large print, to e-books and more. But there's so much more to the story.

Celebration days during National Library Week

  • Monday, April 24: Right to Read Day — Read challenged books and check out our Banned Books display.
  • Tuesday, April 25: National Library Workers Day — A day for library staff, users, administrators, student works and friend groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.
  • Wednesday, April 26: National Library Outreach Day — A day to celebrate library outreach and the dedicated library professionals who are meeting patrons where they are.
  • Thursday, April 27: Take Action for Libraries Day — A day to rally advocates to support libraries.
In support of the mission of Texas Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø University, the West Library cultivates lifelong learning for the campus community via: supporting the academic programs and institutional goals of the University; stimulating teaching and learning; serving the varied needs of the campus community; and serving as a cultural and intellectual resource for local academic, library and professional communities.
